If you have upgraded your Ubuntu system to the latest version Natty 11.04 you will notice at the very beginning the new layout and menu. I find it good and the search results are very quick, but if you are one of those who want the classic Ubuntu menu you can revert to it VERY EASILY.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Log out from your account
  2. Look at the bottom (picture below) and change to Ubuntu Classic


  3. Log in back to your account and you should be set with the old fashioned menu layout.
